Quiet My Heart

2 minutes

Dear Reader, I am a little under the weather today from an allergic reaction. I travelled back from Texas yesterday and it was time well spent with my family. It’s a bit cooler here in New England so I’m staying in and keeping warm. Today is our Emma’s birthday, my angel baby would have been 7 -may her soul rest in peace. Tomorrow is my son’s birthday, so there’s that to look forward to. That aside, I’m going to leave you with this poignant quote that speaks my heart today. “Be careful if you make a women cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man’s ribs. Not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal, under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved.”― Matthew Henry

If right now things,
are looking down
and you don’t have
God’s peace around.

Then on God’s Word,
you will need to focus
so your trust in Him
can rise to the surface.

If Your situation seems,
bleak and hopeless
and you are feeling
weary and helpless.

Then on God’s strength,
you will need to call
for He will save you
before you can fall.

If right now you feel,
weak and defenseless
know that God will never
leave you powerless!

“As for me,
I will call upon God;
and the Lord shall save me.”
